The future promises of God aren’t promises that Jesus will “destroy the earth” but promises that Jesus will “make all things new.” The heavens and the earth will be renewed! When our focus goes beyond our individual promise of salvation and reaches the cosmic promise of the future of the world it will change how we view people, creation, and our future.
