Luke 18:35-43

In Luke 18 we see a man desperate for Jesus. The news of Jesus had been spreading all over the country. As soon as he understood that it was Jesus passing right in front of him, he began shouting as loud as possible! He did not want the Son of David to pass him by, not without giving him what he so longed for. There was a massive crowd, chaos everywhere, buzz going on, thousands of voices, and in the middle of this is a blind man desperate to be heard. He was trying to be heard over the noise of the crowd, crushed down in the middle of it all, he shouts at the top of his voice! This is anguish. This is desperation. This is faith!
