The book of Ruth is 4 chapters long and gives us a wonderful story that displays God’s sweet and bitter providence. It reminds us that God works in mysterious ways that although we see frustration and sadness and devastation on the surface, God is always working behind the scenes to position us to find complete joy in Him and for Him to receive complete glory from us.
